Again, research helps a lot when writing a comic like this.  Earlier I mention that this device that the starlings have been using for an entrance to their home is actually an old bird expeller for humans, meant to send out a loud signal that only invasive bird pests can hear!  So I thought, "Hell, use that as the climax."
