I think the appeal to Kung Fu Panda lies not only in the animated stylized fight sequences, but in the relationship formed between the two main characters. It's only subtly shown in the film, but Shifu slowly becomes Po's best friend as well as a more dedicated teacher, which I find interesting. Heck, it ends with only the two of them!
On the risk of using some borderline-gay undertones, I decided to draw them eating some kind of food on a stick. I still love this style of drawing with no lines, and will try to use it more often.
