How The Mango Birds Were Born

The final project in the children's book illustration class involves a folk tale. We have to make a two-page spread that encompasses both the style of the culture and our own style simulaneously.

Here is page 16 and 17 of the story, with the text added by Photoshop later. I listened to constant CD's of Cat Stevens while I was painting and drawing to get me in the mood, which is good, because his music ROCKS!

Yes, I KNOW the damn border is warped! I only realized it until I scanned it into the computer when it was too late! Spent so much time on it too! :mad: > In the real world, art directors wouldn't accept something like this because of the border. Oh well, I said before that I'm not a good draftsman. I wouldn't make it the first week if I took engineering!
